Grace Bol was born in Sudan and moved to Kansas City as a young girl. Her school teachers always told her she should model, but the stateuesque Grace was more interested in basketball. With some encouragement, Grace ended up moving to New York to pursue modeling and has not left since. She has walked for Givenchy, Lanvin and Tom Ford. Grace is passionate about her friend’s non-profit organization, The Roots Project, that teaches arts and crafts to South Sudanese communities.
